The Biden Administration has made access to abortion pills easier for women. The Food and Drug Administration has given the green light to expand access to abortion pills, and many patients can now get them in the mail. In-person visits are no longer required with specific health care providers. Pro-life lawmakers say this is dangerous public policy. Some Republican lawmakers say this is another example of the Biden Administration’s push for abortion on demand. Representative Andy Harris says, “This is very consistent with what the administration is calling for. They called for the removal of Hyde protections, for instance, they are calling for the refunding of international abortions.” Congressman Harris, who is a medical doctor, says these abortion pills have serious side effects, such as hemorrhaging.
