Gov. Stitt announced this week the appointment of Jason Reese as his new General Counsel to replace outgoing GC Mark Burget who will move to the non-profit sector to work with a Christian ministry.
An active member of Christ the King Catholic parish, successful attorney, gubernatorial appointee to the Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission and accomplished public servant, Reese has for the last two years also served as the public policy writer for the Catholic Conference of Oklahoma.
“I’ve known Jason Reese for over twenty years and can attest that he is uniquely suited for this new responsibility. Though it is a loss to the Catholic Conference, his new role is a major gain for the Stitt administration and the state of Oklahoma,” remarked Brett Farley, Executive Director for the Catholic Conference of Oklahoma.
