Inmates in a state prison in Lexington got to see the inside of a brand-new chapel. It was all paid for by a church in Oklahoma City.
“Hi, my name is David Young and I’ve been in quarantine for 19 years now — also known as prison,” said David Young.
Back in 2020, Young was sharing his faith with youth in OKC from inside the walls of Joseph Harp Correctional Center.
“Don’t let anyone forsake your youth. the ideas that you think are crazy and outlandish – if they’re of God I just want to encourage you to do it – write it down,” Young said.
During his ongoing time as an inmate, he also helped build a large group of believers at the prison.
