UN Projects Population Peak at 10.4 Billion in the 2080s

 

 

The United Nations projects the population will peak at 10.4 billion people during the 2080s. Earlier estimates believed the population would peak at 10.8 billion people in the Year 2100. President of the Center for Family and Human Rights, Austin Ruse, joins to talk more about the United Nation’s projection for the population and why the UN changed its previous estimates. Ruse shares what he thinks is contributing to this smaller peak population size. He discusses why all of this matters, especially as some argue the world is already over populated.
